The difference was never talent.

Performance Driven Thinking is a framework for how people decide, lead, and execute when the pressure is real. We deliver it as training, as coaching, and as leadership development, to organizations where the results are measured.

THE FRAMEWORK

Where Performance Driven Thinking came from.

Why do two people with the same skills, the same resources, and the same information perform so differently when it counts?

Bobby Kipper kept running into that question across 26 years in law enforcement, nearly twenty of them as a police crisis negotiator, and thousands of hours training people in environments where a bad decision has consequences. The answer was never talent, and it was rarely effort. The difference was how each person had learned to think before the moment arrived.

Performance Driven Thinking makes that deliberate. It gives people a repeatable way to approach pressure, ambiguity, and the decisions that do not come with a script, so that performance stops depending on who happens to be having a good day.

It is built for people who carry real accountability, and it is designed to outlast the session that introduced it. A motivational hour that fades by Friday was never the goal.

WHAT CHANGES

What your organization looks like afterward.

From reacting
To deciding

People stop defaulting to the first response available and start working from a method they can repeat under pressure.

From individual
To shared language

Teams get a common way to talk about performance, which is what makes accountability possible without it feeling personal.

From the session
To daily practice

The framework is built to be used on a Tuesday, months later, by someone who was not in the room when it was introduced.

THREE WAYS TO WORK WITH US

Thinking. Coaching. Leadership.

The same framework, delivered three ways depending on what your organization needs and how deep you want to go.

Performance Driven Thinking

The foundational program. Delivered as a keynote, a half-day, a full day, or a multi-session rollout across teams and whole organizations. The widest reach, and usually where organizations start.

Keynote Half-Day Full-Day Multi-Session

Performance Driven Coaching

One-to-one and small-group coaching that turns the framework into daily practice. Delivered by our performance coaches over an ongoing engagement, because the habits this changes do not change in an afternoon.

Performance Driven Leadership

Leadership development for teams carrying real accountability, built around the decisions that happen without a script. For organizations thinking about who leads them in three years, not just who leads them now.

THE BOOK

The framework in print.

Performance Driven Thinking was published by Morgan James in 2014, co-authored by Bobby Kipper and David L. Hancock, with a foreword by Joel Comm.

David is the founder of Morgan James Publishing and part of The Kipper Group’s consultant team, which means the people who wrote the framework are the people who deliver it.

WHO IT’S FOR

If your people make decisions that matter, this is for them.

Corporations & Organizations

Executive teams, managers, and emerging leaders in organizations where performance is measured, targets are real, and the cost of a slow decision shows up on a report.

Public Safety & Government

Law enforcement agencies, first responders, and public sector leadership. Built by someone who spent 26 years inside the work, which tends to shorten the credibility conversation.

Education

Superintendents, principals, and district leadership carrying responsibility for staff performance and student outcomes at the same time.

Community Organizations

Non-profit and community leadership working to create measurable change with limited resources and high stakes.
